GREATER TRENTON BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE (GTBHC)
is a private,
non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization licensed by the State
of New Jersey to provide mental health and substance abuse services. As a multi-service behavioral health organization, we have served
the residents of Mercer County since 1981. Throughout our
history, we have been an innovator, developing new approaches and
solutions to a wide range of community problems.

care for both at-risk children and families and for adults. We
provide services with varying degrees of intensity based on client
need. This allows us to intervene at the first signs of
distress and with the proper intensity to prevent the worsening of
problems and help speed our clients' recovery.
crisis prevention and outreach services, intensive rehabilitation
for mental health and substance abuse problems, and outpatient
treatment - including individual, group and family therapy,
psychiatric evaluation, and medication monitoring. We provide
outreach to employers, churches and community organizations,
offering services to those experiencing reactions to threats of
terrorism and other forms of violence.
